Auction Type |
The Private Equity Exchange uses an English auction structure to arrange private sales between SEC Accredited Investors. Users bid the highest price they are willing to pay for an item and bidding activity stops when the auction duration is complete. The item is sold to the highest bidder at their bid price. PEQX also allows the seller to specify a reserve price (below which the item will not be sold) and a “buy now” price which if met ends the auction at that bid.

Seller Instructions and Fee |
Once you have registered, click on the Category most similar to your equity listing. Next click on Post here [+] within that Category. Fill in the details of your listing. Decide the length of the auction, minimum price, and “sell it now” price if you wish to sell at a predetermined price. Finally, click on the Add Item button to post your listing in the private auction. There is no fee for listing an item. A fee is charged with the private auction is complete.
You will be notified by email when the auction is complete. The email will also provide you information to contact the winning bidder and arrange payment and document transfer. Alternatively, once the private sale details are agreed upon between the parties, PEQX can provide an escrow service for documents and funds transfer. Email us at assist@peqx.com for details.
Fee- When the auction is completed, the credit card number you entered during Registration will be charged a fee for providing the private sale venue. The fee is based on a percentage of the transaction amount. See Terms and Conditions for details.

Bidders. It is your responsibility as an Accredited Investor to obtain current material information about the listing before you bid. You have the option to use the website Messaging function to ask questions about the equity for sale. These are anonymous messages. If you are the winning bidder, you will be notified by email. The seller will contact you to arrange payment and transfer of documents.
